Grand Finale Raffle 2015

    A Well-Orchestrated Kitchen
    Wednesday May 28th, 2014 at 5:30 PM in The Ambassador Ballroom of the Amway Hotel.

    Food, drinks, silent and live auctions, music and fun!

    In November 2012 we released a new cookbook -- ENCORE -- available online here on this website and at many retailers.  Our first Cookbook, pictured here, raised well over $60,000 for the Symphony. Learn More...


    In conjunction with our cookbook the Women's Committee will hold a spring fundraiser, A Well-Orchestrated Kitchen, in the Amway Ambassador Ballroom on May 28, 2014.  The event will include both live and silent auctions, fabulous music by Grand Rapids Symphony musicians, cooking demos of Encore recipes, great food and drink, and a fun "cook-off" with special guest chefs.  Each guest will receive a fabulous Encore cookbook!  All proceeds, of course, will benefit our Grand Rapids Symphony. 



    Successful Past Fundraisers:


    In March of 2012, we had a fourth installment to our famous Variety Show series.  This time it was called Fabulous Follies and we raised around $8,000 in one night to donate to the Symphony.

    In the summer during the Symphony's Picnic Pops season, the Women's Committee puts on a Luxury Raffle that can raise around $20,000 for the Symphony!  It is fun to be out on the hill at the concerts selling tickets and meeting new people. 

    Other fundraisers have included: Symphony Showhouses (highlighting some fabulous properties in Grand Rapids), a Casino Night, Fashion Shows, Symphony Delicious Events, a Cabaret Night, pre-concert dinners...the list goes on and on!
